What I understood that happened from January 7th to February 13th was: Anne talked about her boyfriends since she was in kindergarten.
"In event of English landing in Holland the Germans will do alll they can to defend the country;if necessary they will resort to flooding." Even Maps have been published with the parts of Holland that will be underwater.Anne's family have even counted up all their food supplies and are planning in packing all that will be necessary for the flooding.
Anne started to think that Peter likes her and not Margot.
"We'll see if this ends as a romance!"

In this part of the story Anne feels that Peter loves her instead of Margot. Anne also thinks that God has sent her a helper-peter.
At this point Anne has realized that she shouldn't be going against her own family. She said “from today there will be no more fight against my family.”But from that time she still fights with her family.
Now Anne is falling more in love with Peter. She thought that
he loved Margot, but no he love Anne Frank.
