We celebrated Valentine’s Day here at the Casey Community School on Wednesday, February 15th because on February 14th we went to the Regional Spelling Bee. One of the ways we celebrated Valentine’s Day was by having everyone in the school pick someone’s name out of a basket and then they created a Valentine’s Day card for them. Each class then decorated a box for the cards and on the 15th we read them. Another way we celebrated was by breaking open a piñata. All of the students rushed to grab as much candy as they can. It was a good day because it was very funny. That’s what we did on Valentine’s Day.
